One plant’s residual stream is another plant’s raw material. Finding out which is the hard part.

GreCoM introduces Dutch companies that have an industrial residual stream to companies that could use it as a raw material. Both sides describe what they have and what they need in measured terms. A GreCoM reviewer reads both. Until the two companies agree to be introduced, each sees the other only as an anonymised card.

GreCoM never buys, sells, transports or tests material. The transaction is yours.

Registration is open to companies in the Dutch trade register. Companies elsewhere can join the waiting list.

How a pair is compared A residual stream and a material requirement side by side. Five rows — material category, physical state, quantity, moisture and purity — are compared one by one, and the pair becomes a candidate that a GreCoM reviewer still has to read. Who it is for

Two kinds of company. One structured conversation.

You produce a residual stream

Slags and dross from metallurgy. Construction and demolition fractions. Chemical sludges and powders. Mineral and mining tailings. Industrial polymers and plastics.

If your plant produces one of these in a repeatable quantity, and you know its basic properties — moisture, pH, particle size, purity, main elements — you can describe it here.

What a producer should know

You need a material

Ferrous or non-ferrous metals, minerals and silicates, polymers, organic compounds — for construction-material production, raw-material substitution, soil amendment or energy recovery.

If you can state the material category, the physical states you accept, the quantity you need and the property ranges you can work with, GreCoM can look for a residual stream that fits.

What a buyer should know

These are the five residual-stream categories and five material categories GreCoM accepts today. If yours is not among them, say so when you register: the lists grow with the companies on the platform.

How it works

Nothing reaches anyone until a person has read it.

An engine narrows thousands of possible pairs to a handful. Everything after that is a named reviewer’s decision, and it is recorded.

  1. 1

    Describe

A step-by-step form that saves as a draft. The technical part is structured: category, elements and concentrations, measured properties, quantity and period, availability, location.

  2. 2

    Reviewed

A GreCoM reviewer reads the entry against a checklist before it goes live. The target is three working days. For the first fifty entries on the platform a second named reviewer signs off as well.

  3. 3

    Candidates

A rule engine compares every live stream with every live requirement, and rejects a pair outright on four grounds. What survives is a candidate — not yet a match.

  4. 4

    A person decides

A reviewer reads each candidate, decides whether it reaches the two companies at all, and writes the assessment both will read. There is no score, and nothing is published automatically.

  5. 5

    Introduction

Each side sees the other as an anonymised card. If both express interest, either may ask for disclosure. On approval both identities are released in one step — both, or neither.

  6. The whole process

Every stage, what is visible at each one, and how long each takes.

Confidentiality

Until both of you agree, this is all the other company sees.

Sector. A region — North, East, South or West, never the province or the municipality. A quantity band rather than a figure. Category and intended application. Up to three key properties as bands rather than values. A flag if the stream is declared hazardous, and a flag if processing may be required. No name, no site, no contact, no document.

What each side sees, before and after disclosure A producer and a buyer, with an anonymised card between them. The card carries the sector, a coarse region, a quantity band, the material category, the application and two properties as bands. Both companies express interest, GreCoM checks the disclosure request, and the two identities are then released at the same moment. The buyer sees the card. Nothing else leaves the producer.

Both express interest. Neither knows who the other is.

Either may request disclosure. GreCoM checks the request before anything is released.

Both identities are released in a single step — both, or neither. From here it is between the two companies.

Before a card is published a reviewer checks that it does not describe a single identifiable company, and that check is recorded with the number it was checked against. What is visible, and to whom.

The difference

A reviewer decides. Not a percentage.

Other platforms show you a compatibility score. GreCoM does not, because a number becomes a threshold, and a threshold becomes automation.

Every candidate pairing is read by a named GreCoM reviewer, who publishes it, holds it for more information, or does not publish it — and writes the assessment both companies read. An entry that has been through review is marked Data reviewed. A pairing is marked Match assessed.

You will not see the words verified or validated anywhere on this platform, because GreCoM has not tested your material and will not claim to have.

From every possible pair to one assessed match Live residual streams and live requirements are paired. A rule engine rejects a pair when the material category differs, the physical state is not accepted, the quantity is below half the buyer's minimum, or a mandatory property is outside range. Surviving pairs wait in a queue until a GreCoM reviewer publishes, holds or does not publish them. LIVE ENTRIES RULE ENGINE REVIEWER category differs physical state not accepted quantity under half the minimum mandatory property out of range rejects outright · no score Candidate · waiting A named reviewer reads it Publish Hold for information Do not publish Nothing moves to the right on its own.

Every live stream is compared with every live requirement.

Four rules reject a pair outright. Which rule it was is recorded.

What survives is a candidate, and it waits. Neither company can see it yet.

A reviewer publishes it, holds it for more information, or does not publish it — and writes what both companies read.

The boundary

GreCoM introduces. It does not trade.

It never holds the material

GreCoM takes no ownership and no possession of a residual stream. It does not buy, sell, transport, store or process anything.

It does not test it

GreCoM reads what a producer declares and checks it for completeness and plausibility. It does not sample, analyse or warrant the quality, safety or legal status of any material.

It is not in your deal

No auction, no bidding, no price. Once two companies are introduced, the sampling, the contract, the transport and the paperwork are between them.

GreCoM acts exclusively as an information intermediary. Full technical, commercial and legal due diligence remains the sole responsibility of the transacting parties.

This notice appears under every assessment a participant reads.

Honestly

A pilot, in the Netherlands, open to companies in four sectors.

Every entry and every candidate pairing is read by a named reviewer. The pilot is just starting, so there are no participant numbers to show you yet — and none are published that GreCoM cannot stand behind.
